The site is ours again

QB Spy used to ask four other companies for things while you were reading it — the scores, the streaks, the club marks in a few of the panels. Every one of those was your phone talking to somebody else's server, and one of them was quietly sending back a ---------'s logo to draw on the page.

None of that happens now. Everything comes from us. The numbers still arrive the same way; we fetch them, not you. Ninety requests to other companies became none, and the first screen draws in about a fifth of a second less.

The two typefaces moved here as well, so the page no longer has to wait on a font server before it can show you a word.

Cards can be found

Every card has had its own address for months — one you can send to somebody, that opens as the card itself. What it did not have was any way of being found: no search engine had ever been told these pages exist.

All 763 of them are now listed properly, and they are rebuilt every time the cards are.
